High-Quality Custom Harvesting and Processing for Retail Cuts of Angus Beef
Dean & Peeler Meatworks is among the few federally inspected custom processing facilities between Dallas and Corpus Christi, Texas. We are the exclusive processor of the Dean & Peeler Premium Angus Beef brand and provide custom processing for many other Texas beef producers. Every animal we custom process is treated with careful attention and humane handling throughout every stage of harvest and carcass processing. To ensure that every cut is received as preferred, our butchers work with each customer to develop a specific, detailed cutting order prior to processing.

Every carcass is evaluated and measured for internal marbling with industry-leading camera-grading technology. Finally, each package is vacuum-sealed and includes a label that specifies the cut and USDA grade of the beef.

All our beef originates from cattle owned and responsibly raised from birth at our family-owned ranch in Floresville, Texas, and harvested at Dean & Peeler Meatworks, our USDA-inspected facility in Poth, Texas. From there, all our steaks, marinated fajitas, ground beef and value-added proteins are produced at Supreme Meat Purveyors, our further processing operation in San Antonio, Texas. The Dean and Peeler families are proud to control every step of the process, from raising our cattle to marketing our beef in our three family-owned retail stores throughout South Texas.
